Dear all,
Most of you know that I'm working for Cellenity. Briefly, we develop, implement and operate a wide range of services for GSM Network Operators in the mid-east area. We do IVR, SMS, MMS, SDP, web. We use Linux, Windows, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Java, Glassfish, PHP, Apache and many others, as well as some software packages licensed from Telenity -- our parent company that does platform development.
We manage and operate a spiderweb internetwork that stretches into networks of these RICH BIG FAT TELCO datacenters; distributed across many countries. We've got fault-tolerant software and hardware clusters; we've got VPNs, we've got big storage systems, we've got a lot of data. And it's all alive: changing business dynamics create a pushing force that demands performance and constant improvement. We've got your favorite nightmare, and we deal with it everyday.
All sounds good? Bad news is, our SS7 network monster Emre ran away for military service. We'll miss him, that's for sure. But hey, look at the bright side: we've got an opening in the team for some fresh blood!
You should apply if some or all of keywords mentioned ring a bell. You should apply if you think you have the driving force. You should apply if you want to work with a team of individuals who wrote the book on self-motivation. You should definitely apply if you understand what minimum-effort/maximum-revenue means.
You'll be working at our Istanbul office, Spring Giz Plaza fl. 17 Maslak. We've got an amazing view of The Bosporus. We work 8 hours a day, from 8am/5pm, we strive to prevent any overtime, you don't have to wear a suit or a tie no matter what the plaza environment perception demands, and we provide standard add-ons like life insurance and lunch.
Enough said.
